If you suffer from excessive sweating you already know how terrible is this disease. This problem lowers your self esteem and makes you feel uncomfortable in society, you always try to hide or mask your wet underarms. The causes of excessive sweating can be quite varied. Fortunately, even if you have had excessive sweat problems for many years there are things you can do about it.
Experts claim that the disorder is caused by your genetic and if you were born genetically supposed to sweating you will sweat excessively. While this may be the case, there are things you can do to help your excessive sweating whether it is focal (only in specific places) or generalized (all over the body).
Exercise more and lose weight
Even though when people ask what causes sweating the common answer is "genetics" that doesn't mean you can't do something about it. Did you know that fat people sweat a lot because of their weight. In case you are one of those overweight people, you should start with excercising in order to lose weight.
Drink Plenty of Water
It might sound strange, but when you drink more water every day, you will notice that the amound of your sweat is reduced! If you drink more your body will be able to keep cool easier and hence have less of a need to sweat.
Emotions
If your are very nervous person you should know that this can also cause the problem. You may have already noticed that when you are angry, the temperature of your body rises. So, this is another common cause of this nasty disorder. So try to be less nervous in order to reduce the amount of sweat.
If you use these simple methods you will notice positive changes soon. Doctors cannot say for sure why do people sweat excessively, they can only assume. There are many more effective methods of reducing sweating that may be more applicable to you but these two techniques are a good place to start.
